V.O.I.C.E. — the East Village & NoHo Community Coalition — respects your privacy. This page explains what we collect when you use this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

When you sign up for court updates and action alerts, we collect your first and last name, email address, and (optionally) your cell phone number and building or block. These details are used solely to send you campaign updates.

Our web hosting provider may log basic technical information — IP address, browser type, timestamp — for security and performance. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.

How we use your information

  • To send you email or text updates about court dates, community meetings, and action alerts.
  • To understand neighborhood support (your building or block, when provided).
  • To respond to inquiries sent to VOICEbowery@gmail.com.

How we share your information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share aggregate, non-identifying counts (for example, “more than 1,000 East Village residents signed our petition”) with the press, elected officials, or in legal filings.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from email updates at any time by replying to any message we send. To stop text alerts, reply STOP to any text. To request that we remove your data entirely, email VOICEbowery@gmail.com.
